Barbecued Steaks and Scottish Broth – Method of Preparation
Barbecued Steak
First of all, drizzle a little bit of the olive oil over the steaks. The next step is to rub garlic and chilli powder on to the surface of the steaks. Season it well with a little bit of salt and black pepper that has been freshly ground so that the aroma is not lost. Now, place the steak pieces on a barbecue. You can cook the steaks as much as you want or according to your taste. Turn it only once when cooking.
Scottish Broth
The Scottish broth is easy to prepare. To make the broth, first of all transfer all the vegetables on to a pan along with the stock cube. Then add sufficient water so that it covers the vegetables in the pan and then bring it to a boil. Continue to simmer it for about 10 to 12 minutes or till the vegetables become soft. Make sure that the vegetables are not overcooked. The vegetables should not be cooked to such an extent that they lose their shape.
Serve the steaks and the broth hot along with some crusty bread and a salad.
