Making Lasagna For the First Time

It seems like every lasagna maker has their own variation on the famous lasagna recipe. The one thing they all have in common, however, is that they are easy and delicious to make. Lasagna is the type of meal usually served when the weather is cool, and you want something warm to eat with that. It is a meal fit for any season and can be served either as a dessert or side dish for any meal. If you’ve ever thought about trying lasagna as a meal, then now is a great time to do so.
You can start this type of noodle dish by taking leftover noodles and mixing them together in a bowl until they become thick and creamy. You will also need two cups of low-fat or fat-free milk, three cups of water, four eggs, and three tablespoons of dried Italian herbs. These are the main ingredients in your lasagna recipe. Some cooks prefer to use spiral noodles. Although they tend to be small, they hold up well in the oven and can make for an interesting flavor when added to the mixture.
Now it’s time to chop up your noodles. Most people will choose to cut up smaller pieces of eggplant, or to just use them in their lasagna. However, if you are looking for the healthiest way to make noodles, just chop up your eggplant into medium chunks. Then, mix them up with your noodles and any additional ingredients that you want. You may choose to add in some shredded cheese, or even some chopped meat and/or vegetables. Add your parsley or fresh basil if you wish.
Next, you will want to heat up your saucepan. This can be as simple as using a saucepan that is filled with water to bring the water to a boil. You do not want to overheat the pan because it will curdle the cheese. Once the saucepan is boiling, simply add your noodles and cook until the noodles are almost watery in appearance, then turn off the heat. Let the lasagna cook it to ensure it is done and ready to serve.
When your noodles are all cooked and your lasagna is completed, simply scoop out your prepared tomato sauce and spoon it over top of your noodles. Stir and enjoy. If you wish to add cheese to your lasagna, simply dice up your eggplant and add it to the tomato sauce along with the rest of the ingredients. You may even wish to sprinkle some shredded cheese over top of the noodles at this point, though you may find that the cheese takes away from the appearance of the lasagna. If you find it looks okay with the sauce, then by all means, do so.
Adding any other types of food to your lasagna is completely up to you. Typically, potatoes, mushrooms, cheeses, meats, and vegetables are a given when making lasagna. However, these are generally the most common foods that are chosen for their use when making lasagna.
